International Programmers’ Day
Imagine a world where without computers, no mobile phones, no applications, no internet and no technology based on software. In today’s world that is difficult to imagine, isn’t it? We use these technologies extensively and our lives revolve around them. You can do anything using these devices and things just keep getting better.
If the hardware devices are the body, then the software running these devices is the soul. All the technology innovations and advances are in part thanks to the amazing software behind the scenes.
And the wizards creating these amazing pieces of software are the Programmers. Without programmers writing, testing, executing and innovating their software; none of the technological advances would have been possible. There would have been no internet, no cloud and definitely no Instasafe.
Did you know that 12th September is celebrated as Programmers’ Day?
Programmers Day is celebrated on the 256th day of the year which falls on 13th September in common years and 12th September in Leap years.
The number 256 (28) was chosen because it is the number of distinct values that can be represented with an eight-bit byte, a value well-known to programmers. 256 is also the highest power of two that is less than 365, the number of days in a common year.
In today’s technology-driven world, even During tough times like COVID-19, technology has made it possible to handle things in an easy way like usual without affecting negatively . This has made people safe and their jobs.
It is hard to do anything without electronic devices. Most of the things we use in day to day life such as all our different devices, IoT etc everything works depending on the programming in its background. The reason behind this development is the programmers. Programmers make all things possible by using their innovative ideas. Hence we can say programmers have made our life much easier, flexible and reachable to any extent around the world by creating programmes according to requirements.
So, let’s’ take a look at some facts about Programming:
Programmers are involved in a specific part of the project called coding.
The term programmer can refer to a specialist in one area of computers, or to a generalist who writes code for many kinds of software.
Programming is not one thing, it is not fixed, it is different for different people. For some, programming is corporate, it’s all business. For other programming is game development, or it’s art, or music, or language, or telling a robotic arm how to deal cards.
For some people, it’s just a job, but programming can be incredibly rewarding both intellectually and in one’s career.
So, today is the day for programmers to celebrate and take a pride in saying they are programmers’ who joined their major hands in turning the world into a technology-driven environment and During tough times like COVID they have made work from home possible and hence by proving their capability in achieving tough times like this.
So at InstaSafe, we would like to THANK our and the rest of the world’s amazing Programmers for their effort and creativity. And there is a day specially dedicated to thanking them.
